  • YIPPI

I got a B in my class Yippi Praise the Lord I am just so relieved my next class is a business class so I get a break from coding...Oh too cool.............

Jeff came home early from work yesterday he was feeling so bad I am thankful that he is feeling better today... He has been resting all morning hopefully he will be all better by morning...

He has to be a work at 4am the morning after Thanksgiving for the big event he is part of the morning control team to keep the crazies at bay (These are my thought on the event day not Wal-Marts or Jeff's). I will stay home and have a nice cuppa coffee and do my shopping later the saving are not worth the facing down the mob to me...

Jeff has already been getting his blitz with the big turkey savings at 40 cents a pound and hamburger at $1.25 a pound. Poor guy has priced and put out a bunch of turkeys...

Today I think Shannon and I will go to the library and oh I don't know maybe have a cuppa fancy coffee if I can con Jeff out of a few bucks...I wonder if kisses ans sweetness will work...

    Have a blessed day:

  • Maxine's Perfect Solution to Senior Health Care...

     []

While discussing the upcoming Universal Health Care Program with my sister-in-law the other day, I think we have found the solution.  I am sure you have heard the ideas that if you're a senior you need to suck it up and give up the idea that you need any health care.  A new hip?  Unheard of.  We simply can't afford to take care of you anymore.  You don't need any medications for your high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, etc.  Let's take care of the young people.   After all, they will be ruling the world very  soon.

So here is the solution.  When you turn 70, you get a gun and 3 bullets. You are allowed to shoot one senator and 2 representatives. Of course, you will be sent to prison where you will get 3 meals a day, a roof over your head and all the health care you need!  New teeth, great!  Need glasses, no problem!  New hip, knee, kidney, lung, heart?  Well, bring it on.  And who will be paying for all of this?  The same government that just told you that you are too old for health care.  And, since you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any income tax!
For some reason my Maxine stopped working Hmmmmmmmmmm

  • The last day of class

Today is the last day of my class I have one final project to complete and I am about have way finished I have one more bullet to complete and I am not quite sure of how to do it I am waiting for my professor to answer my e-mail...

This weekend was pretty quiet Jeff was off yesterday and he took me to my favorite BBQ place for dinner...it was so good but I ate way too much...I had a Smoked Turkey salad wrap there was so much salad and turkey in it I took part of it out and ate it last night for supper....

I do love veggies and fruit and although I do eat meat I do like meat but I would say at least 80 percent of my diet is now veggies and fruit...I think that is one of the reasons my diabetes is under control is all the fruits and veggies I eat. and of course all the water I drink...I have learned that a persons diet should be 80 percent water and fiber based fruits veggies even things like peanut butter  adds water to your diet keeping fruits and veggies as a major part of the diet helps not only your waist get smaller you can eat more and stay full and it is heart healthy and even keeps blood pressure down....The more water based food you eat also helps to keep the blood flowing without blood clots that can cause strokes and heart attacks...and it will also help to wash away stored fats....

Well guys I better get back to my paper...

I am looking so forward to my week off even if I will be cleaning house

    Blessings

  • Happy Saterday Hi ALL!!!!

I am just about half way through my rough draft I think I am going to call it quits for awhile and maybe get a few things done around here the house is in dire need of a good pick up...

My daughter is so up-set he baby adopted half brother got himself in trouble and has been in jail for several days... I guess he is in trouble for drugs and assault and battery... It is a shame but he has been out of control for years and I am surprised that this hasn't happened before...I will keep my ex and Lisa in my prayers and I will pray that Nick gets the help he really needs jail time isn't going to correct it he needs to get help and not just more pills the doctors give him to control his emotions and mood swings....I am also  praying David and Lisa gets the help they need to help break this cycle that Nick is in...I think a little tough love is in order...

Jeff finally has a day off tomorrow he is so tired...and the poor guy just doesn't have the help he needs to run his departments...so he runs a rat race to get things done all day then comes home grumpy and tired...I need a break from that too LOL

well guys have a great rest of the day

    Mae

Just found out the person Nick assaulted was Lisa his mother and he threatened her with a sword for his David his dads collection I am so saddened by this and what saddened me more is David is mad that their son was arrested he didn't think the police should have been involved so he is not speaking to Lisa...

  • Wow Another Day done Gone By thank goodness

My day started before 6am I began to study and complete one assignment...Wow what a chore then I studied for my test I then took my test I got a D+ mainly because I am a very slow coder and I did not complete my task but the ones that I finished were correct except I missed 2 add on modifiers if I had had more time I bet I would have had a great score I need to find speed doing this...

But any way I passed and I know although slower than a 7 year itch I can do it..

I have one more task to complete by Monday then I am done and have a week break and boy does my house need me

I am  so sad about the soldiers that were killed yesterday let us all pray for their friends and family...

    Blessings and hugs

    Mae
